Winstrol is actually the brand name for the hormone Stanozolol and it is a popular anabolic steroid, especially amongst bodybuilders and athletes. However, it is also used by many for medical reasons due to the fact that this anabolic steroid has been approved for a number of different applications on animals and humans. It helps to create an increased amount of red blood cells being produced which means that it can be used effectively to treat people who suffer from anaemia.
It has also been found to decrease the anti-anabolic activities of the cortisone hormone as well as being able to stimulate an increased amount of collagen being produced in the body.
The anabolic steroid Winstrol tends to be found in two forms, the oral form or the liquid form. The severity of the side effects varies from person to person as it depends on how sensitive the user is to the stimulus of Winstrol.
It is important to know what some of the most common side effects of Winstrol are, one of them is liver toxicity being an issue. Especially if you are taking to oral form because the pill has to be chemically altered to be able to pass through your liver and into your bloodstream without being destroyed upon ingestion. This makes to tablet hepatotoxic and has the potential to cause a lot of damage to your liver if you abuse this steroid. Although liver toxicity is one of the more rare cases when it comes to the side effects due to the fact that you would have to be taking quite a lot of Winstrol tablets to get the dose high enough to where it starts to become a serious problem.
